Model LM Low-Speed Belt Color Sorter

Key Advantages

  • Ultra-Low Material Loss via Low-Speed Stable Conveyance
  • Universal Sorting for Diverse Premium Materials
  • High-Accuracy CCD Purification System

Product Introduction

The Model LM low-speed belt color sorter is custom-developed for sorting ultra-fragile, high-value premium materials. Equipped with a dedicated low-speed steady conveying mechanism, it delivers ultra-low breakage and zero morphological damage throughout the sorting workflow.

1. Ultra-Low Material Loss via Low-Speed Stable Conveyance
The finely tuned low running speed drastically reduces collision, extrusion and frictional contact between materials. This design thoroughly resolves fragmentation and shape deformation issues commonly seen during the sorting of fragile premium grains and tender frozen food raw materials.

2. Universal Sorting for Diverse Premium Materials
It supports refined classification and purification for high-grade rice, organic beans, fine seeds, top-tier dried fruits and specialty coffee beans. The unit also fulfills high-precision impurity removal requirements for assorted frozen fruits and frozen vegetables.

3. High-Accuracy CCD Purification System
High-resolution CCD modules precisely sift out discolored grains, moldy particles, defective coffee beans, frost-bitten produce and misshapen frozen fragments. The whole sorting process preserves the complete form and original texture of high-value materials to the maximum extent.

Model LM elevates the commercial grade and economic return of premium grain products and high-spec frozen food items, serving as the optimal precision sorting equipment for processing businesses working with fragile high-value raw materials.

Working principle schematic diagram of APEX LM low-speed belt color sorter for fragile high-value materials. Raw materials are fed from the hopper and evenly distributed onto the low-speed stable conveyor belt by the feeding vibrator. Matched light source and high-precision CCD camera capture surface characteristics of materials in real time. Defective particles are blown into the rejected material bucket via precise nozzles, while intact qualified materials fall into the finished product bucket. The low-speed conveying design effectively avoids collision, friction and extrusion damage to fragile grains, coffee beans and frozen food materials during sorting.

Step 1 Uniform feeding & low-speed lossless conveying
Raw high-value fragile materials are put into the feeding hopper. The feeding vibrator evenly arranges scattered materials onto the special low-speed conveyor belt. The optimized low operating speed greatly reduces mutual collision, extrusion and frictional abrasion between particles, fundamentally preventing material fragmentation, surface scratch and morphological deformation of delicate premium grains, coffee beans and frozen fruits & vegetables.
Step 2 High-precision CCD visual inspection
Materials are transported at a steady low speed through the detection station. The matched stable light source provides uniform illumination conditions for the high-resolution CCD camera. The camera rapidly collects color, surface texture and morphological data of each particle, accurately identifying discoloration, mildew spots, frost damage and deformed defective particles on material surfaces.
Step 3 Precision air ejection and material collection
After the system marks defective targets, the high-speed nozzle executes instantaneous targeted air separation. Defective impurities are blown into the rejected product hopper, while complete and qualified materials naturally fall into the accepted product hopper to finish the whole low-loss high-precision sorting process.

Sorting effect display diagram of APEX LM low-speed belt color sorter, focusing on coffee cherry ripeness grading and screening of various fresh berries. The equipment classifies qualified ripe coffee cherries and rejects unripe, under-ripe, partially ripe and over-rotted defective coffee fruits via high-precision CCD recognition. It is also applicable to low-loss sorting and purification of blueberries, blackberries, strawberries and other soft, easily deformed fresh fruits. The matched low-speed conveying structure effectively prevents fruit extrusion damage, keeping the complete original shape of fragile berry raw materials during sorting.

Sorting Performance for Coffee Cherries & Soft Berries

  • Precise ripeness grading for coffee cherries: LM high-resolution CCD system distinguishes subtle color differences of coffee cherries to realize accurate grading according to ripeness levels. It automatically screens out green unripe fruits, under-ripe grains, partially ripe heterochromatic fruits and shriveled over-ripe deteriorated fruits from mixed raw coffee cherries, only retaining fully ripe high-quality coffee cherries for subsequent processing. The low-speed stable conveying mode avoids extrusion rupture of coffee cherry pulp and peel, greatly reducing raw material loss in coffee raw material sorting.
  • Low-damage purification for various soft fresh berries: This sorter perfectly adapts to fragile soft fruits such as blueberries, blackberries and strawberries. Different from conventional high-speed belt sorting equipment that easily causes fruit bruising and breakage, LM’s optimized low-speed running state minimizes friction and collision between berries. While removing discolored, rotten and deformed berry particles, it fully protects the intact appearance and commercial quality of fresh berries.

LM achieves both high-precision surface defect screening and full material morphological protection, becoming ideal sorting equipment for coffee processing plants and fresh fruit deep-processing enterprises that have strict requirements on finished fruit integrity.

Built around a dedicated low-speed damping conveying framework, the LM model abandons conventional fast conveying design to cut collision, friction and squeeze damage to fragile raw materials. Equipped with independent high-definition CCD surface inspection module only, it focuses on color difference screening, ripeness grading and defective particle removal for high-value delicate materials without internal infrared penetration function, perfectly matching processing demands of materials susceptible to fragmentation and morphological deformation.

  1. Specialty coffee cherry grading & purification
Realizes precise ripeness classification for raw coffee cherries via subtle color feature identification. Effectively separate fully ripe qualified coffee fruits from unripe green cherries, under-ripe grains, unevenly ripe fruits and deteriorated overripe berries. The mild low-speed transmission prevents pericarp cracking and pulp rupture during sorting, stabilizing the yield of high-quality raw coffee materials for roasters and coffee processing factories.
  2. High-grade grain & fine seed refined sorting
Suitable for deep purification of premium polished rice, organic kidney beans, specialty vegetable seeds and various high-value dried fruits. The CCD system cleans out discolored grains, moldy particles, shriveled grains and foreign impurities. The whole conveying process maintains the original grain shape intact, satisfying the high appearance standards of premium grain commodity sales.
  3. Soft frozen fruits & fresh berry low-loss sorting
Supports sorting processing for blueberries, blackberries, strawberries and other soft pulpy berries, as well as conventional frozen fruits and frozen vegetables. Low-speed stable operation effectively prevents fruit bruising, cracking and surface scarring caused by mechanical impact. It eliminates frost-damaged, deformed and rotten particles while retaining the complete natural form of fresh and frozen fruit products, improving the commercial grade of finished berry products.

FAQS

  • What core benefits does the low-speed slow conveying structure deliver?

It greatly cuts friction and mutual collision among ultra-fragile high-value materials including specialty coffee cherries and fresh organic berries, realizing near-zero breakage and material loss throughout the sorting workflow.

  • Is the conveyor operating speed adjustable manually to match different levels of material fragility?

The touchscreen supports stepless speed regulation. Users can set ultra-low speed for tender vulnerable fruits, while selecting medium speed for ordinary premium grains to satisfy diversified production demands.

  • Does the conveyor belt of LM adopt softer material compared with the standard L model to stop surface scratches on products?

LM is fitted with extra thick matte PU soft conveyor belt material. It effectively prevents surface abrasion and scratches on polished high-grade grains and delicate berry peels during conveying.

  • What ambient temperature range allows LM to maintain stable continuous operation?

The whole machine runs steadily from 0°C low-temperature frozen food workshops to 40°C conventional grain processing environments, with no sorting precision decline or component performance degradation under such temperature conditions.
