Product Introduction

The G Series is a cost-effective and high-stability belt-type whole bottle sorting machine, professionally developed for regular waste plastic bottle recycling and large-volume whole-bottle purification.

Unlike vertical sorting machines that only handle crushed plastic flakes and pellets, this belt-driven unit adopts a dedicated flat belt conveying structure perfectly suited for intact waste plastic bottles. It fulfills mainstream sorting needs in daily plastic recycling with customized structural design and targeted application scenarios, ideally matching standard industrial whole-bottle recycling production lines:

1. Targeted Whole-Bottle Sorting & Broad Material Compatibility

Designed exclusively for intact waste plastic bottle sorting, it works with common containers including PET mineral water bottles, beverage bottles and daily chemical plastic packaging bottles. It efficiently picks out discolored, stained, deformed and defective bottles from qualified products, addressing the key limitation of vertical flake sorters which cannot process uncrushed whole bottle materials.

2. Stable High-Throughput Round-the-Clock Production

Optimized for large-batch recycling workflows, the machine supports 24-hour non-stop high-speed steady running with consistent hourly processing capacity, fully satisfying daily mass purification requirements for small & medium bottle recycling facilities and standard recycling production lines.

3. Gentle Bottle Conveying & Minimal Material Loss

Equipped with a soft flat non-squeezing belt conveyor, it prevents bottle scratching, deformation and cracking during high-speed operation. It keeps bottles intact throughout sorting to maximize finished product yield and cut material waste in whole-bottle sorting procedures.

4. User-Friendly Operation & Excellent Long-Term Cost Performance

Built with proven industrial components and a simplified mechanical framework, it boasts low failure frequency and minimal daily maintenance expenses. It only requires basic parameter setup and straightforward manual operation, delivering outstanding cost efficiency for long-term steady waste plastic bottle recycling.

Centered on conventional whole plastic bottle recycling applications, the G belt sorter integrates wide material adaptability, stable high-output operation, damage-free material transfer and low maintenance costs. It serves as the ideal budget-friendly belt sorting equipment for daily high-volume waste plastic bottle purification and standardized production within small-to-medium recycling enterprises.

Step-by-Step Whole Bottle Sorting Line Workflow

  1. Raw mixed waste plastic whole bottles are fed into the production line as initial raw materials.
  2. The conveyor elevator lifts bottles and sends them into the bottle orientation system to arrange messy bottles into orderly forward conveying posture.
  3. Bottles enter the 1st Stage Belt-type Optical Sorter,Color CCD & AI vision identifies and rejects discolored, stained, damaged and foreign-looking defective bottles.
  4. Rejected non-conforming bottles are separated and discharged, while qualified bottles are transported via recycle conveyor to the 2nd Stage fine sorting unit for secondary precision screening.
  5. After two rounds of optical inspection and impurity removal, high-purity qualified whole bottles are output as finished recycled materials.

Equipped with color CCD and AI visual algorithm system, the G series belt whole bottle sorting machine is specially designed for sorting intact waste plastic bottles such as PET drinking water bottles, beverage bottles and daily packaging plastic bottles. It judges and eliminates unqualified bottles through surface color difference, stain spots, bottle deformation and breakage features. It only carries out appearance purification for bottles of the same material type, and cannot identify and separate plastic bottles of different resin compositions.

It is mainly used in the primary pre-sorting process of medium and small waste plastic bottle recycling production lines before crushing and washing. Replace manual picking to remove stained, discolored and damaged defective bottles in batches, reduce the impurity rate of subsequent crushing raw materials, cut labor cost for manual sorting, and stabilize the basic quality of recycled plastic flakes.

How Does a Plastic Bottle Sorting Machine Improve PET Recycling?

FAQS

  • Will high-speed belt conveying scratch or deform complete plastic bottles?

The G whole bottle sorter adopts a customized soft flat non-extruding belt conveyor design specially optimized for complete bottle transportation. Different from rigid chute feeding of vertical flake sorting machines, the flexible belt surface buffers friction impact effectively. Even under designated high-speed 3.5m/s conveying speed, it can prevent bottle-to-bottle collision, extrusion deformation, surface scraping and bottle body cracking. It keeps recycled bottles intact before subsequent crushing and washing procedures, greatly reducing raw material loss rate and improving the yield of qualified recycled plastic flakes for downstream production.

  • What bottle sizes can G handle for mixed waste PET bottle recycling?

The built-in AI visual algorithm library of G series is pre-trained for mainstream daily waste plastic packaging bottles. It is fully compatible with conventional mixed-size mineral water bottles, carbonated beverage bottles, fruit drink bottles and daily chemical plastic bottles with diverse heights, calibers and bottom diameters commonly seen in domestic and imported waste bottle recycling materials. There is no need for manual pre-screening of bottle specifications before feeding; mixed-size whole bottles can directly enter the sorting procedure without blocking the conveying channel or causing missed identification, meeting the messy feeding characteristics of primary waste bottle recycling workshops.

  • Is Model G suitable for small-bottle recycling workshops with limited budget?

Definitely yes. Positioned as the economical entry-level whole bottle optical sorting equipment in APEX belt-type sorter lineup, G series cancels extra infrared spectral detection module and retains core CCD+AI visual sorting configuration for appearance impurity removal only. The overall mechanical structure is highly mature and streamlined, with fewer vulnerable wearing parts. It cuts initial equipment procurement cost compared with GI/ZI upgraded versions, meanwhile the daily operation, replacement parts and routine maintenance expenditure are kept at a very low level. It is the most cost-efficient automated replacement for manual bottle picking for small-batch waste plastic bottle pre-purification and preliminary impurity elimination scenarios.

  • Can G run steady 8–12 hour daily shifts for small recycling lines?

The G machine is assembled with industrial-grade thickened frame and wear-resistant drive components, which are tested for long-duration cyclic fatigue operation. It fully supports 8–12 hours non-stop daily heavy-duty sorting shifts as the mainstream working rhythm of small recycling plants. The anti-blocking feeding structure reduces downtime caused by material jamming, and the modular electrical control system lowers sudden failure probability during long-hour running. Within the regular equipment service cycle, it can sustain consistent visual identification accuracy and conveying stability without frequent shutdown for overhaul or parameter recalibration, matching the daily production schedule of small-scale whole bottle recycling lines perfectly.
